The Home of "Comet" and "Lizzie"

Lizzie is a petite, highly energetic little girl that is built like a rock and runs the fields all day! Her athleticism has astonished me from the day she came to our home. At eight weeks I had to construct a top on her kennel so she would not climb over the fence. We named it the "puppy dome"! Her water retrieves are amazing as she literally flies off the land into the water. While in South Dakota pheasant hunting this fall, I witnessed her clearing the top of a barbed wire fence with room to spare like a bounding deer. All four feet were a foot above the top wire!

Even with all of her athleticism, she spends her home time in our house at night and kennel by day. As with most golden retrievers, she can not get enough attention and loves being with us every second. From time to time she frequents my accounting office and greets clients with a sloppy kiss.

She doesn't dawn the halo all of the time. Lizzie has a mischievous attitude that will appear just when you think you want to show her off. She is still a genuine "Golden Keeper" and I look forward to years of pleasure as my buddy and hunting companion!
